Good Ol' Marshfield; Søster Schneck Week 7
Hello!!
This week has been absolutely insane, but I made it to Wisonsin!! Woohoo!
Saying goodbye to the mtc and my time there was a lot harder than I expected, but I will forever be grateful for the amazing experience I had!
I flew out to Wisconsin at 4am on Thrusday. My AMAZING district woke up at 3:30am to say bye to me! shout out to the BEST DISTRICT EVER!! Love you so much!!
Our little travel group of missionaries went from local celebrities in SLC to quite the opposite in the span of a few hours. Definitely an interesting experience to be judged by people who don't even know who you are, but we just keep pushing through! Here is my favorite quote from the week.
"We can wish you the best of luck in life, but not on your mission, we wish you failure" ...thanks randy
my new companion, sister doizer and I are reopening an area here in Wisconsin called Marshfield! Marshfield is so pretty!! We are kind of in the middle of no where, but are surrounded by beautiful green fields and forests! So grateful for that! There haven't been missionaries in the area for a LONG time. I'm not going to lie it is a struggle! We are starting from the ground up and trying our best to plant seeds, but it is going to take ALOT of work!
Also Wisconsin is a "social media mission" meaning we use Facebook to find friends to bring closer to Christ and mostly teach them online. It will definitely take some getting used to! I would like to formally apologize to Brother Høgset, because I am forced to make facebook posts. Please don't judge
If I'm being honest, these past few days have been really hard. And sometimes I take a step back and ask my self what I'm doing, and why I'm REALLY here. Why am I here on a mission? Sometimes I can get so caught up in the moment and the stress of it all that I forget why I am truly here. I am here to love, serve and remind people that they have a loving Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ! It's that simple! My Mission Presdient and his wife set a goal for the missionaries to memorize "The Living Christ" I was definitely nervous to take on the large task but it has seriously been the biggest blessing! This testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ reminds me why I am on a mission and why we all do hard thing! I invite you all to read "The Living Christ" it has blessed my life so much in the past few days, and I promise that it will bless yours as you remember our Savior and the love He has for each and every one of you!
God is so good! Have the best week ever!!
