Elder Schneck 2.0; Søster Schneck week 15

I've officialy hit 2 weeks in Norway! Sometimes I just have to take a step back and fully process that I'm actually here!! There have been so many blessing and tender mercies this week that just testify to me that the Lords hand is In this work!


Some weekly highlights 


☆  Søster Kristiensen got news from President that someone she taught in Bergen was getting baptized! She was so excited and asked President if we would be able to attend. The likelyhood of the answer being yes was slim to none because its about an 8 hour drive from Ksand to Bergen, BUT HE SAID YES! I Feel so blessed to have such an amazing mission president thst allows us to experince such cool things! So in the past week I have been to Oslo, Lillistrøm, Arendal, Kristiansand, Stavanger and Bergen!  
☆ at the baptism, I was asked to give the closing prayer. when they said my name these 2 ladys got so excited. They turn to me and go "siri schneck?!" They proceed to tell me that my dad, elder schneck, was one of their favorite missionaries when he served in Bergen! I literally almost started crying (and your girl doesnt cry often) it was such a tender mercy!
☆then the next day we went to church in bergen and just was talking to people and met my dads MTC teacher and a few more members that new Elder Schneck. SO COOL! i hope to serve in Bergen one day so I can reconnect with all of my dads fans HAHA he is pretty famous around here 
☆ another one of his friends from Bergen is named Siri Veslemøy, she told me she thinks I am named after her HAHA
☆ 8 hour road trip full of missionary music and confernce talks!
☆ your girl is a pro driver here in norway. I have never seen more round abouts or tunnels in my life hahaThe road system is a little odd but we finally got a hang of it
☆ PRESTTIEST DRIVE EVER and we got to take 2 ferry rides 
☆ we had splits yesterday in Stavanger and it was so great. My goal was to speak Norsk the WHOLE DAY and we did it! Miracle for real!
☆ our lesson got cancled so we decided to knock doors! Not going to lie, STRESSFUL especially when one dude goes " ABSOLUTT IKKE" and slags the door in our face HAHAH1
☆ it was søster Kristensens bday so I made her some banana pancakes for breakfast! Then we went to Matheas house! She was baptized about 2 months ago and made the cutest birthday surpirse for her. 
☆ the language is still SO HARD, but I get better everyday! I can now have a pretty good conversation with a norwegian which is so fun!but still have SUCH a long way to go! Trust in the Lord!  

 
spiritual thought
This week as I have been studying, I have been 
trying to find and write down the different names of Christ. It has helped me find out who the Savior is to me and learn more about His attributes! I encourage you all to start making a list of the different names of Christ, I promise it will bless your life!

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim  - Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!  - It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold  - Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined...

A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
