Hva Er Pumpkin Pie?? Søster Schneck Week 20

Heyy! Hope you are all doing so well and had the BEST Thanksgiving ever!! My heart is seriously so full and I just have so much to be grateful for, especially all of you!! 
This week was antother great week in the South of the North lol 


weekly highlights
☆ we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Scrams, Elders and 4 of our non member friends!! They have never experinexed Thanksgiving before so they were SO excited to have their first Thanksgiving! 
☆ me and Sister Krisensen "picked" out a christmas tree for our apartment! (See pic) hopefully we dont get arrested fr fr 
☆ had to explain to a bunch of Norwegians what pumpkin pie was HAHA its a lot harder than it seems
☆ we are teaching a lady from Sweden and she mixes Norwegian and Swedish together and its SO confusing 
☆ got recruited to play piano for our ward christmas party, when everyone stands around the christmas tree and sings. I have to learn 10 songs... pray for me
☆ i help sister Kristensen with her english and she helps me with Norsk, dream team 
☆ came up with a sick handshake with the elders #ksand krew forevaaa
☆ sister schram doesnt like cooking, so she recruited me to make thanksgiving dinner. Boy have i missed cooking! SO FUN! 
☆ we seriously are teaching the coolest people ever and I love them with my whole heart!! Missionary work is the BEST 
☆ sister Kristensen sleep talks and always talks about going home on the Danish ferry that we see 20x a day HAHA pls stay with me sista 
☆ so much snow!! 
☆never have i had more people stop and talk to me than when we were walking back from working out with Sister Schram and its -5° and snowing outside and your girl is wearing byu lax shorts #go cougs a t shirt, doc martin boots and my huge nike parka, quite the sight to see. People were stopping me asking if i was just swimming in the ocean, if i was crazy or they would turn to their child and say "look, shes not wearing pants" nice.


Overall such a good week! SO GRATEFUL FOR WHAT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH!! 


Spiritual thought!!
This week it has been so evicdent to me thst Jesus Christs Gosepl truly is for EVERYONE!! we are all Gods beloved children and He wants the best for all of us. 
We are teaching so many people from so many differnt backgrounds and walks of life, yet the gospel works perfectly for them. 
It perfectly comforts them, teaches them and leads them closer to Christ. 
No matter what they have been through or what trials they are going theoguh, Jesus Christ is is the Perfect comforter and healer. 


"For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile." 2 nephi 26:33


Jesus loves you and knows you perfectly!! Come unto Him! SEEK HIM!

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim  - Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!  - It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold  - Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined...

A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
