Devil Signs - Søster Schneck Week 27

Hey gang!! This week was GOOD! lovin life up here in Kristiansand. I dont have a ton of time right now because I'm at Zone Confernce! But I'll try to give a quick update! 


weekly updates
☆ okay so funny story. We made a post on a local service facebook page daying we are missioanries and are willing to help people. We asked the elders to send us a selfie that we could include with ours on the post. We posted and got some great responses, but then I got a text that was like "hey, i think its interesting that you say youre christian, but then one of you is doing the devil sign" HAHAH WHAT so we look back on the pics and elder kasteler is doing this, so we kind of thought nothing of it, then i got ANOTHER message. So we ended up deleting the pic HAHAH so now we know we cant be doing that sign 
☆ we have had the most BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets recently and it is such a witness to me of Gods power
☆ they played some 70s rock at a cafe we were at and it made me SO HAPPY
☆ we found 3 new friends this week!! So awesome! Sister lindley and I are really trying to put all of our lines in the water. From those finding efforts and the new friends that we have found, we have been able to have lessons with all of them! Its so amazing to see that when we put in effort, the Lord provides. It is so evident that the Lord is IN this work. One cool experince this week was when we called a referral that we have been unsuccessful to contaxt. She answered and we were able to talk to her and set up a time to meet. After we talked to her she said that she had just been praying to God for guidance in her life and than we called. It was such a tender mercy. We were able to have a lesson with her yesterday and it was amazing. 
☆ had an AWESOME lesson in the chruch with our new friend and the gift of tongues was REAL. God is good!
☆ now I'm in Stavanger for zone conference! I love all the miasioanries and love being a missionary!! 


This transfer we are focusing on our WHY. As i have studied more of Christs life and learned more about His character I have really seen that Christ did eveything out of LOVE! Love for me and love for you. It is such a comforting thought. Now as I go throughout my missoanry work and my life, I ask myself what my WHY is. And am striving to do eveything out of love for the Savior! LOVE IS WHY!

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim  - Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!  - It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold  - Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined...

A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
