Hey gang! Another crazy week has come and gone in good ol' Ksand. This next week will be our first full week in Kristiansand since the first week of February, so crazy! But not too much to report on, so here are your favorite...

weekly highlights
☆ had a mid-mission crisis and CHOPPED the hair
☆ while knocking doors we somehow knocked on the same door as I had maybe 4 months ago, and the same dude opened was like "uhh yeah still not interested" HAHAH this is what happens when you're in the same area for 6 months
☆ we took a road trip to Oslo for First Transfer Training. Its about a 4 hour car ride and sister Nartker is scared to drive in Norway (dont blame her) lets jsut say it was a LONG 4 hours of driving
☆ we had dinner at the mission home! I just love all the missionaries and President and Sister Montague
☆ got a parking ticket in oslo... TRAGGIC. literally the parking situation in Norway is so dysfunctional HAHA I'm surprised this is our first ticket
☆ALSO driving in Oslo is the most stressful. thing. ever. But obviously we got to fake til we make it because I cant be showing fear or weakness to my trainee
☆ all of our friends have been ghosting us and its soo sad!! Pray for KSand!!
☆graduated from my teenage years and turned 20! SO OLD HAHAH
☆ the whole mission sang the Norwegian happy birthday song to me over zoom, and my cutie district decorated for district council, you cant tell me we dont have the BEST missionaries in Norway
☆ we had a member meal with one of my favorite families and i was reminded that when i first got here their baby was 6 weeks old and now she is 6 months old, ive been here for too long HAHAH no but actuslly its the coolest thing being in an area for this long because its so so cool to be so close to so many amazing members and friends!
☆ they played my FAVORITE song "vienna" by billy joel at a cafe and it made my day
☆ yesterday was SO warm and sunny and we spent the whole day outside!
☆ had a whole 20 minute phone call with this lady trying to explin to her that we are willing to do sevice for her but we are not maids HAHA
☆ we have been on the finding grind and talking to EVERYONE

This week I've thought alot about our Saviors Sacrifice for us. While Elder Phillips, from the 70, was here to talk to us, he told us this story and it has stayed with me.

A while back there was a traggic ferry accident, where there was a malfunction and the boat ended up sinking and many people passed away.

He told of a family that was discussing, theoretically, what they would do if they were on that ferry.

The parents had agreed that the father would help the mother get to safetly and then he would go back one by one to help assist and lift the children safely to their mother.

They also discussed that if time was running out and there was no hope to save all the children, that the father would go back down and stay with and comfort the remaining children until the boat had sunk.

It was a very sad and heavy story to hear and think about, but he then related it to Our Savior.

Our Heavenly Father sacrificed His beloved Son to save, love and comfort us.

Our Savior comes down and lifts us to safety, ONE. BY. ONE.

100% willingly, because He loves us.

Jesus Christ Atoned for the pains, sins, sorrows and afflictions of ALL man kind, but He would come back for YOU.

Even when it seems like our boats are sinking and there is no hope, we have a loving Savior who is willing to carry us to safety. And when that step to safety seems unbearable, He will sit with us, cry with us, comfort us, and love us until the trial has passed. His love is infinite and eternal.

HE LOVES YOU!!

i hope you all have the best week ever!! I love hearing from you
