God Påske!! Søster Schneck Week 37

Hei alle sammen!!

This past week was SO good and full of miracles, laughs and memories! I just feel so blessed to be here and I never want to leave Ksand!
When Presdient first told me I would be doing my 5th transfer in Kristiansand, I was honestly a little bummed... 7.5 months is a long time haha. Its definitely hard to see other missionaries move on every transfer and it feels like I'm just stuck lol but this past week has been such a good reminder to me that this mission isnt about me and what I want, and it never will be. My mission is to align my wills with Gods and help His children come closer to Jesus Christ. TRUST GOD!! After changing my perspective, I've been able to regain my love and excitement for the cute city of Kristiansand and its people! Feel forever blessed that I get to serve here

weekly highlights
☆ we had an awesome lesson with our friend Anna-Carin about baptism. We invited her to be baptized and she was a little unsure so we told her we understood and would work on it with her. Then right as we got up to leave she goes " WAIT, STOP, I want to be baptized on may 2nd!! Thats my birthday and I want to get baptized on my birthday!" It was the most tender moment ever!!
☆ last p day we tried playing sand volleyball in the pouring rain next to the ocean...dont recommended. The volleyball may or may not have ended up in the ocean
☆ a member invited us to an easter concert in the big cathedral in town and they sang beautifully norwegian songs about christ! And there was even a norwegian Christian boyband HAHAH
☆ to change things up a little bit we took our language study at IKEA and planned out our future homes in norwegian
☆ Our usual norwegian teacher who teaches språkkafe called us a few hours before, saying she couldnt teach that day, so that meant that your girl had to teach people from all over the world how to speak Norweigan even tho I have no idea how to speak Norwegian either but we pulled out the bingo and had some fun HAHA
☆ i got asked to accompany a musical number for easter sunday and since I am the only person that can play the piano I had to say yes lol BUT it quite possibly is the hardest song I've ever seen and need all the prayers so I can get through this song #needamiracle
☆ we got kicked out of the library this week you win some you loose some
☆ we met a Lutheran Preacher on the street and taught him the whole restoration and now he wants to take the missionary lessons, lets hope we dont get bible bashed!
☆ spring has sprung!! Still freezing outside, but there are cutie flowers popping up everywhere!!
☆Back in January, Sister Lindley and I made a service post on facebook, offering service to yhe community andnthis past week, I was prompted to look back on that post, and I noticed a new comment of a lady asking for help. So we took reaxhed out to her and went to her house to help with her garden. But right as we got there, she told us she felt the spirit and asked what church we belonged to and to tell her more about it. She told us her beliefs, and then we offered to talk more on a different day and read the Bible together. She then invited us over for dinner so we could talk more. SO COOL!
☆ the members and our friends are getting WAY too comfortable around me and feel like they can ROAST me at any given moment.
☆ we had the most BEAUTIFUL sunset ever!!
☆Easter here is a pretty big deal! Everyone gets school and work off for the whole week and they go up to their cabins and ski and everything is closed. Might be a hard week to do missionary work, but hopefully we'll be able to find some people to share the light of Christ with!
☆ our friend Eva has plowed through the Book of Mormon and now is reading the bible on her own, D&C with a past missionary, and the Pearl of Great Price with us! Shes a POWERHOUSE
☆ the elders said my laugh sounds like a cinderblock being dragged on cement
☆ we visited this cute old lady who is less active and she force fed us norwegian waffles HAHAH

great week! GOD IS GOOD!

This morning I listened to the talk "worthiness is not flawlessness" by Brad Wilcox and it was SO GOOD! he talked about how sometime we feel like we have to be perfect or achieve a certain standard tonbe accepted and loved by God, and that is simply not true! No matter who you are, or where you are in life and in regards to your relationship with God and Jesus Christ, They will ALWAYS love you. Their love, grace, comfort and guidance is eternal and infinite, extending to every single person on this earth. God doesnt expect us to be perfect, he just expects us to try our best and trust that His grace is sufficient for us. GOD LOVES YOU!!
"When you feel like you have failed too many times to keep trying, remember Christ’s Atonement and the grace it makes possible are real. “[His] arm of mercy is extended towards you.” You are loved—today, in 20 years, and forever" brad wilcox

love you all!! Have the BEST easter ever, and take some time to ponder the Sacrifice and Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ!
