Ksand Queen Søster Schneck Week 36

Hey! WOW! sorry its actually been forever since I've written an email, I've been slacking, BUT I'll do better

These past few weeks have been CRAZY but so so good! As always, LOVE being a missionary! I hit 8 months which is actually INSANE, time is going way to fast and Im not a fan. but what has been cool is to see the hand of the Lord in the work over the past few weeks. GOD IS GOOD!
We got transfer news and drum roll please....

YOUR GIRL IS STAYING IN KRISTANSAND HAHA
Its crazy to think I'm almost halfway done with my mission and Im still in my first area, but its teaching me to trust God and really put my mission in His hands.

here are a few highlights!
☆ we watched the Book of Mormon videos with one of our friends and she fell in love with Nephi HAHAH
☆had a traditional norwegian christmas meal on sunday of pinnekjøtt (look it up)
☆ last p day we played soccer a district! So fun!
☆ had a little scare with the Word of Wisdom HAHAHA cant wait to tell that story when i get home
☆ we have a traveling sister AP and she stayed with us this past week! Shes the BEST! blessing KSand fr
☆ drove to Stavanger 2x for or Zone Conference and then splits. PRETTIEST. DRIVE. EVER. Sometimes I just take a step back and realize that I'm LIVING in norway. Actuslly insane, and I feel so blessed!
☆ had an amazing interview with President Montague! He told me he's sad he wont be my missiona president my whole mission. STAB TO THE HEART, they go home in June:( but I'm so grateful for them and all they have done for me and this mission
☆ traggic story... so at the end of interviews President has us close with a prayer, obviously in Norwegian. So I go to say the prayer... this is your one chance I have to show my mission president that I can speak Norwegian and... COMPLETE FAIL. not sure what happened but everything I've ever learned left my brain and was somewhere else, LOVE IT! so after the prayer I apologize and we have a good laugh and then he totally ROASTS me and is like "well its a good thing youre not driving home tonight, gotta keep you off the roads until your brain is back to a functional state" HAHAH GOODBYE. Nothing like getting roasted by your mission president
☆ our fire alarm went off in our apartment, so the whole apartment complex had to evacuate. I kid you not, this was the first time Ive ever seen other people in our building lol but we used our time effectively and did some "fire finding"
☆ made up a rap with the elders on Pday about språkkafe HAHA
☆ I feel so blessed to be here for another 6 weeks and continue to build my relationships with our friends and members! I LOVE THESE PEOPLE WITH MY WHOLE HEART
☆ i found out that a girl that we found and started to teach when I was in Wisconsin got baptized!! All you missionaries out there, remember how many seeds you are planting and lives you are blessing! GOD IS GOOD!
☆ we have been working a lot on contavting less active members and it had been SO cool!! We have met some of the most amazing people who are ready to let God into their lives again!

Spiritual thought:
This week I studied the talk "One More Day" by Elder Guddoy and it hit me hard. He poses the question, "What would you do if you had one more day to live?" And Ive been thinking alot about that, but in regards to missionary work.
If tomorrow was my last day as a missionary, what would I do differently? What would I change? Would I push a little harder, be a little better, talk to one more person, trust God a little more? The answer is YES! I would 100% want to change some of the things Im doing. But the question is, why wait? Why wait until the last day when you can change NOW? This mind set has changed the way I want to do missionary work. Because of the Saviors infinite and eternal sacrifice I have the opportunity to live ONE MORE DAY!
One more day serving Him, loving Him and honoring Him.
One more day gathering His sheep and preaching His gospel and spreading His light.
I dont want to waste a minute of the precious time He had graciously given me.
So, i invite you all to ask your self the question "What would I do if I had one more day to live?"

I LOVE YOU ALL and would love to hear from you!!
