Spring Fever Søster Schneck Week 38

Yo yo yo! 
I hope everyone had a great week celebrating Easter! Every year my appreciation and testimony of Easter is deepened and my love for the Savior multiplied. I think Easter is my new favorite holliday


In Norway, Easter is celebrated from Thursday- Monday, meaning EVERYTHING is closed and it is culturally inappropriate to set up lessons or knock doors. SO.. the work this week was a little slower, but we were still able to spread the light of Christ and see miracles!


Weekly Highlights:
☆ us and the elders played "ping pong" with a wonderful stomach bug this week, one day we were dying and the next they were. NO FUN! This was the first time Ive been sick enough on my mission to stay inside all day and Im not a fan. #prayfortheKsandKrew
☆ the easter video we have been making for the mission facebook page finally is done! WOOHOO
☆ we went to a members house for FHE and after the spritual thought, we played "the quiet place" which entails blindfolding the 5 year old and giving him a nerf gun, and if he hears you move, he shoots you. HAHAH IVE NEVER LAUGHED HARDER 
☆ our friend Eva invited us for "boller" which are like rolls but 100x better and we played the most intense game of uno ever. 
☆ a YSA in our branch asked us to edit his english research paper about computer viruses because we speak english lol I was so confused HAHA but lets hope he doesnt blame us if he gets a bad grade 
☆ went over to some of my favorite members house to practice our Easter Musical number... lets just say we were praying HARD it would work out but we got some good laughs 
☆ i played the guitar and we sang "I stand all Amazed" with the elders on Easter Sunday
☆ the musical i did with 4 members wasnt a complete disaster WOOHOO! But then the stake music lady came up to me and asked if we could perform it at stake conference... looks like I'll have to convince president to keep me in Kristansand for another one
☆ the Kristansand branch is my second family, i just love them SO much!! 
☆ cutie flowers are popping up EVERYWHERE 
☆ we spent Easter with the Schramms and they are just my favorite people ever!! 
☆ played secret hitler with the YSA... definitely won 
☆ finally bought my bundad (traditional norwegian dress) WOO you're girl is norsk 


Spiritual Thought:
☆ this week as we've been practicing our musical number with the elders, I've been pondering the words of the song we sang, "I stand All Amazed" take a minute and really read and digest the words because they are so powerful! 


"I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me,
Confused at the grace that so fully he proffers me.
I tremble to know that for me he was crucified,
That for me, a sinner, he suffered, he bled and died.

Take a step back and think about all Jesus Christ did for YOU.
 I dont think we can even comprehend the full extent of what He suffered and endured. 
But the amazing thing is, is that He willingly did it for YOU PERSONALY. 
He knows exactly what you felt like when you went through your deepest trial, or when you feel like youve lost your way. 
No matter who you are or what you have done, nothing will ever take away His eternal and perfect love for YOU. He cared for YOU enough to die for YOU. oh it is wonderful


Jesus loves you and so do I!

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
