Team Jesus!! Søster Schneck Week 50
Yooo! Im back! Life in Trondheim has been so busy, but I love it! Here's a little recap for ya from the past 2 weeks.
☆ had to say bye to some of my most cherished friends, definitely a sad transfer day, but also Im just grateful for the opportunity that I have to make so many connections and stories with the BEST people!
☆ being comps with søster barker is just a PARTY everyday. We just have so much FUN! shes my best friend and we just be talking and gabbing, but We’re working so hard! #dreamteam
☆ it rained a ton and so me and sister barker had the time of our lives jumping in the puddles and living our best life!
☆ got invited to a little girls birthday party that we are teaching. The mom asked us to sing a happy birthday solo in both norsk and english and then the mom tried paying us afterwards. Looks like we were just the birthday party clowns
☆ flew to Oslo for a missionary leadership meeting and got to see some of my favorite people ever!! We also had a great discussion about what the missiona needs to focus on and it was such an amazing and spiritual experience.
☆ President Montague is almost done with his service as our Mission President! He wanted to go around have Zone Conferences with all the missionaries before he leaves, so us and the ZLs had to plan Zone Conference in TWO DAYS! Literally insane, but God helped alot and it turned out great! Im going to miss president and Sister montague so much, they are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. We had a special musical number for them, where all the missionaries got up and sang "God be with you till we meet again" (takk eldste stoltz) but it was a success and there wasnt a dry eye in the room
☆ last pday we played spike ball with the elders at the beach and lets just say I'm a spike ball pro, the elders had to buy us icecream after because we destroyed them
☆ on Saturdays a hip hop group gets out in Sentrum and they just dance, and ive NEVER wanted to dance more in my life than in that moment, but i controlled myself and remembered who im representing HAHA
☆ søster barker and I have jsut been talking with EVERYONE! sometimes its scary, but then I remember whose on my team! #teamjesus
☆ all the sisters in thr zone wore blue to ZoCo
☆ there was a bird in the library, so obviously my inner wildlife conservationalist came in and i tried picking it up and save the day, but it was a fail and the bird ended up just flying out. But we csnt say i didnt try
☆ GOD IS GOOD! We got a referral from facebook, and she was SO elect and ready to hear about the gospel. She said she has been searching and praying for a church and then we called her and she was so excited! Im excited to see where it goes!
☆ sister barker and I are just grinding and working so hard, and we are seeing so many miracles. The miracles we are seeing are not a result of anything me and sister barker are doing, but its all God! God is just good and Loves effort!
So much more happened but my memory is so bad! But its been so good! We've never worked harder or had more fun! God is a God of miracles!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT!
This is one of my favorite articles! Its a beautiful expression that our sacrifices to God are enough for Him! Sometimes, I feel like Im not doing enough or could be doing so much better, but then I remember that God sees my sacrifices and He loves them. And its the same for you! No matter what your calling is or what stage of life you are at, your best is enough for God, no matter how big or small. And that doesnt mean that we dont strive for improvement, but it means that we are trusting and relying on God in the growing process! You guys are amazing and such great examples to me!
