Sister Schneck Wk 58

Whats up?! Dont have a ton of time but here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks! 

☆ we love making up raps here in trondheim and elder bjerkøe (senior couple) is a pro and said to call him "snoop dog"
☆ we had a crazy lesson with 3 people and it was going pretty good until they told us that we had a "different jesus" and asked if we would ever leave the church
☆ planed zone confernce with the elders and used a clip from the hockey movie "Miracle" for our presentation 
☆ we had an AMAZING lesson with our friend Anna and she pretty much asked US if she could be baptized! 
☆ we did service for an inactive member with the elders. She was asking us what different swear words meant in english and then spiders were crawling all over elder larson, and i dont think Ive laughed harder in my life. I tried so hard to hold it in and be professional, but i couldnt help myself HAHA
☆ we had zone pday in Oslo! Consisted of sports( redeemed my self and did a back flip with some missionaries) and then a photo Scavenger hunt around oslo!
☆ Zone Conference was so good! Always a little hectic, but we learned alot and got to spend some time with eachother! 
☆ i sang in ZoCo with elder Stoltz most stressful moment in my life HAHAH i think I'll leave the sining to my sister
☆ speaking of, Hanna downloaded the "Soaring over California" sound track for me. (Dont worry its just pretty instrumental) but it played right as my plane was landing in trondheim and it was such a happy moment
☆ we stopped a girl with a cross necklace on the street and she asked if she could give us a hug so tender
☆ a super cool famous ski chick from Colorado came to our Språkkafe and ended up knowing someone i knew in highschool! Small world
☆ I was trying to convince one of the YSA to come to BYU and he told me that people at byu only play pickleball and drink soda, so he's not interested 
☆ i love trondheim and dont ever want to leave! The YSA are all my best friends!
☆ today we went inside nidrosdome with the elders and it is BEAUTIFUL!! look up pictures!! 

My spiritual thought today is just an invitation to look around you and find the one who is a little hidden. The one who needs a little extra love. Sometimes our lives can get so busy and hectic that we look over those who really could use a smile or a friendly conversation. I hope you all can take some time to ask yourself " who needs me today" and act on it!

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim  - Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!  - It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold  - Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined...

A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. If you would have asked me how I felt 5 months ago as I was saying goodbye to 8 months of memories in Kristiansand, I would have expressed that I was feeling about...

ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
