Fortnite, Hogwarts And Miracles! Søster Schneck Wk 60

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks
- For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal
- Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim
- Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!
- It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold
- Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined us in a lesson and it was SO funny. The mom served us the most SPICY food ever and his poor Norwegian mouth couldn't take the heat. And then we ended up doing some christian hip hop all together and coloring pictures of our families and the temple! I would say it was a pretty successful lesson.
- We took companionship study with the Mission Presidents wife and she is such a girl boss!
- Elder Bjerkøe gave us his famous Africa Presentation, because he has been to Africa over 40 times! and it was inspiring, as always and your girl is ready to move to africa
- We had dinner with the sweetest member on Tuesday! I just love all the members here, they all have a special place in my heart
- The tech team had a challenge to change our profile pictures, so I did and said "send me a message if you want to learn about Jesus Christ" and not 10 minutes later, I get a message from this cute girl saying she wants to learn about Jesus! We were able to meet and we gave her a Book of Mormon and had a lesson and she is SO CUTE and loves the gospel so much already! so cool!
- we had MLC and because of previous commitments in Trondheim, we couldn't fly to Oslo with the other missionaries and so we joined on line for a 5 hour meeting. I was fighting for my life to stay awake and alert HAHA
-One of the friends I taught in KSand for 8 months sent me a text and told me she was in Trondheim and wanted to visit me! We were able to talk and catch up and she told me I sound like I'm Trondisk HAHA  I am so grateful for all the friendships ive made here
- We had an AMAZING YSA dinner and so many of our friends came. We ate good food and played guess that tune. AHAH so fun!!
- MIRACLE!!! We got a text randomly from one of our friends and she just said "I've been meaning to tell you this for a while, but I want to get baptized!" WHAT!? She is so ready and so amazing and will be getting baptized next week! It's so amazing to see how people change, because the first time I met her she brought me and my companion to a bar and was not interested in the gospel AT ALL. so we stopped teaching her. but a few weeks later she sent me a text asking if I could pray for her dad because he is really sick. Her dad lives in the Philippines, so we were able to get in contact with missionaries there and they visited him and gave him a blessing. Then a few weeks ago we started teaching her again and introduced her to the Book of Mormon. The spirit has really worked on her and she has the strongest desire to be baptized! GOD IS GOOD!
 - we helped the elders move and they are living in the hood of Trondheim HAHAH jk
- we had in person District Council and I LOVE all the missionaries so much
- we went on a road trip to Namsos with The Bjerkøes!! They are moving back to America this week so we got to go on one last road trip. My first road trip with them was to Namsos back in May, and we came full circle with my last. We got to visit so many amazing people and make some great memories! I love the saints here in Norway and I LOVE THE BJERKØES!
- I made best friends with a little 6 year old girl named Fortnite HAHA she is just so cute and lives up to her name
- I was able to meet one of my dads friends that he made when he served in Trondheim! I feel so blessed to make so many connections with people who knew my dad.
- I love this work so much!!

In Bible study this week we read one of my FAVORITE stories from the bible and that is in Acts 9. (shout out to sister Bjerkøe!) It is the story of Saul and the most epic conversion story ever. He went about killing and persecuting the church and then the Lord appeared to him and helped him have a change of heart. My favorite line is when Saul says "Lord, what wilt thou have me do" I think that is such a powerful question, and mindset to have. Sometimes in our lives it is so easy to be focused on what we want. and what we want to accomplish is that we forget that there is someone a lot bigger and better there to help direct our lives. I hope we can all take some time in our prayers to ask God "what wilt thou have me do?" and allow God's hand to beautifully illustrate the story of our lives and allow us to be instruments in His hand.

I LOVE YOU ALL and SO DOES GOD!!
