Trondheim Is Heaven On Earth! Søster Schneck Wk 63

Wow, the past few weeks have been FULL of memories, miracles and moments! I wish I had time to explain every detail of every day because there are just so many things that mean so much to me and words can't even explain all the feelings I have about this beautiful country and the amazing people I have had the privilege of meeting here. But here is a quick little recap of the past few weeks!

Highlights
The crowned prince and princess of Norway were in Trondheim! WHAT!? lol i don't even know their names or what they look like, BUT the guards were guarding them with their lives and as we were walking through sentrum the trumpets were sounding and out walks the prince and princess!! crazy
- went on exchanges with the Bodø and Tromsø sisters! They are just the BEST! There are only 6 sisters including us in our Zone, so it's so fun to build strong connections with them!
- Our volleyball activities always turn into christian dance parties
- Trondheim is a pretty touristy city and we have run into SO many members from the USA in the past few weeks! It's been so fun! One night we got a call from the elders and they told us that there was someone looking for me, so we went to Sentrum and it was one of my Aunt's friends who was just on a business trip with her! She bought us all dinner and it was so fun to get to know them! People are so kind!
- Sister Twede and I have been incharge of teaching institute while we waited for the new senior couple to come and I never knew you could learn so much from Acts HAHA
- Our friend Anna, who is literally an angel on earth, texted us last week and told us she wants to be baptized!! So she will be getting baptized on Saturday! Anna randomly came to our volleyball activity when I first got to Trondheim, and I remember seeing her and being so scared to talk to her because she is just the cutest Norwegian girl. but now she has become one of my best friends and I am so happy that she has the desire to come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ through baptism
- I got sick this week and sounded like a smoker for a few days
- One of the members has the CUTEST farm in a place called Orkanger, which I truly believe is heaven on earth. We helped them harvest their potatoes, which we planted when I first got here at the beginning of May! It was so fun and refreshing!
- I had to translate a sacrament meeting from norwegian to english and english to norwegian and one of the YSA sat by me and clowned me the whole time because my brain cells can't think that fast HAHA, but the gift of tongues came in clutch and it turned out just fine haha.
- we went bowling with jolly ann and Anna and it was so fun!! I definitely won
- Zone Conference is this week and all of our planning is falling through the cracks please pray for us lol
- It's getting SO dark and SO cold here!! I love fall and it's the best in NORWAY!
- We have been grinding the street contacting  week because all of our progressing friends are getting baptized, which isn't a bad problem, but now we need to find new people! We talked to this dude who was sitting on a bench, and it seemed pretty promising because he used to live right next to a temple in Ghana and has tried to download the book of Mormon before! so cool! but as we continued talking he started talking about our third eye and how our spirit leaves our body when we sleep lol. we met with him again with the elders this time and he was saying the most crazy stuff, but wanted a book of mormon, so we are going to let the elders take this one HAHA
- another dude we talked to invited us to the club with him
- The live band that plays at the bar that we live above started playing one of my FAVORITE songs and it was a tender mercy! We had the Bodø sisters over and you already know we had a dance party on the balcony!
- The northern lights have been out!! Unfortunately I haven't actually seen them with my own eyes, but the elders did and I am only a little bit jealous.
 - Our cutie friend Eimon got baptized on Saturday!! such a happy day! Aksel, who is an 18 year old Norwegian kid who got baptized a couple years ago, baptized her and it was such a tender moment!
- Eimon has a little 2 year old brother who is quite literally the cutest little boy ever, but as we were having the baptismal interview with her (she wanted us there lol) this little boy full on PULLS HIS PANTS DOWN and just flashed us all AHAH we were trying SO hard not to laugh, but it was hilarious.
-  Yesterday we went to an african pentecostal church with the elders and one of their friends and let me tell you, NEW CORE MEMORY HAHA. so we go in and try to just lay low and not make a big deal, and then after some singing, praising and hallelujahs, they ask if there are any people here for the first time and like half the people turned and pointed at us AHAH. so we stood up and introduced ourselves and they all clapped and welcomed us and put our names on the TV. so we were just singing and praising the Lord with these people who have such a deep love for God and Jesus and as different as it is, it was a really tender moment for me. At one point we were just singing about Jesus and I looked over at the other missionaries and I just started crying. Sister twede probably thought I was going to convert to this church HAHA but I was just feeling so blessed that this is my life right now. That I get to meet and interact with so many beautiful people, whether that be friends, missionaries or members. I can't express the gratitude I have.
- Me and Sister twede have been taking our lunch breaks at the church and have been playing Organ and Piano duets HAHA
- Today we went on the most beautiful fall waterfall hike! YAY FALL!

I have been trying to study the Book of Mormon more in depth recently and while I was reading in 2 Nephi 25 there is a verse that says that Christ has ''Healing in His wings''. I have been trying to picture and understand what that phrase really means and as I was studying I came across a quote from Elder Richard G. Scott speaking of the need for the healing effects of the Atonement- not just forgiveness of transgressions; but for all of our hardships. '' The Savior has risen from the dead 'with healing in his wings.' Oh, how we all need the healing the Redeemer can privied. Mine is a message of hope for you who yearn for relief from heavy burdens that have come through no conscious act of your own while you have lived a worthy life. It is based on principles embodied in the teaching of the Savior. Your challenges may be serious physical disability, a struggle with lingering illness, or a daily struggle with a life threatening disease. It may have roots in the death of a loved one, the anguish caused by another bound by sin, or abuse in any of its evil forms. Whatever the cause, I testify that lasting relief is available on conditions established by the Lord.'' I am so grateful that the Savior's Atonement is all encompassing, and eternal.

I love my Savior and I love you all so much!
