God Is In The Details♡ Søster Schneck Wk 77

Hello!! these past few weeks have been AMAZING!! So many tender mercies and miracles. I feel so blessed to be a missionary for jesus christ, especially in norway.  

I feel so blessed to serve Jesus Christ everyday being surrounded by the people i love. Tune in next week for my last email, the time goes by too fast and i wish I could slow it down.

☆ this is my cute companion sister haycock! She has become my best friend and we never stop laughing! I couldnt ask for a better person to be with me during the last moments of my mission! 
☆ birthday party at the Musa house! I love this family with my whole heart. They have changed my life. Last week we were able to teach them the song "I am a child of God" and it was so tender and the spirit was so strong. 
☆ I saw the sun for the first time in 4 weeks! You don't fully realize what youre missing until its gone lol. 
☆ departing dinner! My two mtc comps went home about 2 weeks ago! I wasnt supposed to go to the dinner because Alta is forever away from Oslo and it just didnt make sense, but then I got a call from president saying he wanted me to come and surprise them HAHA it was the hardest secret to keep. But I flew in and hid at president's house until they came and I surprised them! It was so fun! We had a traditional norsk dinner and reminissed on our missions.
☆KRISTIANSAND!! due to a random turn of events, I got to go back down to Ksand for 2 days! It was the BIGGEST blessing for me. It was so crazy to be in the same place a full year later. I got to see some of my favorite people again and it filled me up! I also got to play the guitar with my good friend elder schramm! It was also so fun to be around so many people! If we are lucky we see 10 people on the streets in Alta haha, but Kristiansand was FULL, and it was so fun street contacting and talking to people.   COOLEST MIRACLE okay, about 9 months ago when I was serving in Kristansand, i started talking to this lady on the bus about Jesus and she was so cool, but she had to hurry off and we never talked again.  Then fast forward 9 months, im in ksand again and we were waiting for the bus and i see the SAME LADY, and somehow recognize her. So I go over and talk to her and tell her that we've talked before. She looks up at me and just starts crying and gives me the biggest hug. She says " you're the girl who taught me about Jesus christ, ive thought about you every day since then" my heart was so full and i knew God knew me and knew that women. I got her facebook and invited her to church and texted me "god brought us together again" it was such a tender moment that I will never forget. Kristansand will always have a piece of my heart
☆ my last zoco! It was combined with the Oslo zone and it was so fun to see all my friends one last time! These people have become my second family
☆ we made it back to alta!! It's been SO cold and SO snowy, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world! 
☆christmas at the north pole!! We spent Christmas with our branch president and his wife and Linnea and geir! We ate Ribbe and sang norsk christmas songs. It was the best christmas. Being able to spend a second christmas as a missionary in norway has been so special and had helped me focus on my Savior and his love and grace

Hei Hei!! I am going to try and make more of an effort to send weekly emails again, but no promises. President called me last week to inform me that I am staying in Trondheim for another transfer!! WOOHOO! It was very unexpected, but I couldn't be happier. I love this city with my whole heart! Here are some highlights from the past 2 weeks - For pday a few weeks ago we went inside Nidarosdomen and it felt like I was in Hogwarts, unreal - Got a text from one of the YSA asking if me and Sister Twede could make him food for the ward potluck HAHA he paid for it all, and we ended up making my moms famous chili. He wanted to bring a dish to contribute, but hates cooking HAHA. W Joakim  - Got to go on splits with my bestie SISTER BARKER!!  - It feels like fall here in Trondheim! The leaves are starting to change colors and its getting pretty cold  - Aksel ( a 19 yr old YSA who recently got baptized) is going to be baptizing our cute 8 year old friend in a few weeks, so he joined...

A Tribute To Trondheim; Søster Schneck Wk 65

Hello friends!!  This email is going to be dedicated to TRONDHEIM!! We got transfer news and I will be leaving good ol' trondheim to open ALTA for my last 2 transfers, which is the northernmost mission area in the world. Not exactly sure how I'm feeling right now, excited, scared, humbled, sad and grateful are just a few of the emotions. Trondheim, Norway has my heart. Being able to serve here for the past 5 months has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. I don't fully have the words to describe the impact this place has had on my mission and my life. The people I have met here and the memories I have made mean the world to me and I'm not sure if I am ready to say goodbye. Change has always been something I have had a really hard time with, yet I know it is inevitable, and necessary for growth. ALTA!! Søster Schneck Wk 66

Hey!! This week has been an adventure and full of so many tender mercies and my heart is so full! And... we made it to ALTA!!  Here are some highlights!  ☆ left a piece of my heart in Trondheim, and it definitely wasnt an easy goodbye, but I feel at peace with where I'm at right now and I know this is exactly where I need to be!  ☆ thursday I traveled all day and made it to Tromsø to meet my new companion, Sister Matthews!  ☆ we got stranded in tromsø for 2 days because we currently don't have a place to stay in Alta. we grinded it out there and worked our hardest to make it productive when we weren't in our area HAHA  ☆ Saturday we got a call from president telling us we are finally flying to Alta!! Yay! We took the tiniest 25 person plane and finally landed in our new home!  ☆ we have been living in a hotel for the past few days as we've waited for an apartment, but will be moving in tomorrow (best hotel breakfast EVER)  ☆ ive only been her...
